The vineyards of Malgra are mostly located within the municipality of Nizza Monferrato, the center of Asti Monferrato. At present they stretch for 40 hectares clustered around hillside ridge that produces Nizza DOCG. The vineyards are largely planted with Barbera, but there is also Moscato, Brachetto, and Chardonnay grapes.
